What is the bag policy?
All bags brought into Jake Gaither Gymnasium entry points will be subject to search and must be clear and small.
Guests should be prepared to open all bags for security personnel.

What items are prohibited inside the venue?

• Alcoholic beverages
• Backpacks
• Illegal or non-prescribed drugs
• No Smoking inside gymnasium (includes electronic cigarettes) is strictly prohibited
• Folding chairs
• Coolers of any size
• Outside food and beverage
• Umbrellas
• No professional recording equipment – photo, video, or audio
• Video cameras, laptop computers, iPads/notebooks
• Audio recorders and tripods
• Musical instruments
• Gifts for the band
• Animals (except for service animals to aid guests with disabilities),
• Skateboards, skates or rollerblades

Jake Gaither Gymnasium is located at 1835 Wahnish Way, on the campus of Florida A&M University, Tallahassee, Fl. 

If coming from the Airport 
Exit right onto Capital Circle and go east turn left onto Springhill Road.  Turn right onto Orange Avenue  and then make a left on Wahnish Way and continue about a half mile to campus.

If coming from the East I-10 (I-95/I-75)
Take Exit 209A, which will put you on U.S. 90/Mahan drive (Head into town and continue on U.S. 90 (also called Tennessee Street) turn left onto Macomb Street.

Continue on Macomb Street. The name of the street will change to Railroad Avenue  and then change to Wahnish Way when it intersects FAMU Way. You are now on campus.

If coming from the West I-10 (Pensacola)
Take Exit 192, which will put you on Hwy 27/Monroe Street.  (Head in to town on Monroe Street make a right on Tennessee St.

Continue on Macomb Street. The name of the street will change to Railroad Avenue  and then change to Wahnish Way when it intersects FAMU Way. You are now on campus.

Free parking is available in several areas on campus, just a few blocks away from gymnasium.
